Goal

The project wants to halve the number of girls who, for various reasons, interrupt their primary school education prematurely.

How

The project is run on site in Rwanda by the local organization KoRa, which will, among other things, organize parental support circles, increase cooperation between the school and the parents and conduct motivational efforts for the girls both inside and outside the school.

Results

An important measure of results is how many girls drop out of school compared to previous years.

Completed activities

KWETU has strengthened KoRA’s competence and ability through, among other things, training in meeting facilitation and project management. The purpose is to prepare the local project organization to implement and manage the project.
